Second one we purchased. First one gave up the ghost after 6-7 years of heavy daily use. It makes the best coffee quickly and keeps it hot without burning or changing the flavor. The brew button on the first one stopped working and I see they changed the buttons from push button to “touch” button on this new model. You barely have to brush your finger on the surface and it starts brewing. To clean the inside of the stainless steel carafe, I drop in a dishwasher pod and fill the carafe with boiling water. Place the lid loosely over the top and wait 30 minutes and then rinse really well and the carafe is shiny new!

Easy to use, clean and makes coffee in a «jiffy». Awesome flavor and «hot» like I like it!This is my 2nd unit. I brew coffee at least twice a day and I have not found a unit thatmakes coffee this fast and this hot. It really is «The Ultimate Brew». I recommend it.

What a great coffee maker. Very modern design and you don’t have too worry about breaking the coffee pot it’s stainless steel. The Braun coffee pot is now $60 for a new glass pot it makes good coffee but glass pot is to expensive to replace. Mr. Coffee makes a great cup of coffee and the pot stays hot over 2 hrs. and even 3 1/2 hrs. later it was still warm. Tried the strong brew but I thought regular brew was better. Try it you’ll be happy and won’t have too worry about breaking the pot and the bank. Thank you Mr. Coffee and Thank Amazon for handling this.

Since we tend to dawdle during breakfast, the thermal carafe is a must. Our previous Mr. Coffee quit on us after many years of dedicated service and we just had to get another. This newer model tells you in minutes how long since the pot had been brewed; the old one used a bar graph. Easy to use and clean, it makes a consistently good cup o’ joe.

I love the way the coffee tastes and it looks good on the counter. Everytime I try a different brand I’m dissatisfied so I always end up going back to Mr.Coffee and I won’t ever make that mistake again.

This is the 3rd we have purchased. In the past 15 years. The biggest reason for purchasing new one is because the pot doesn’t hold heat. Usually because we have bumped it too many times on the counter.We have tried another brand and spent way too much money on a big fancy one that didn’t last as long. And of course we came back to the old tried and true.Coffee stays warm for hours and brew so fast. Afyer trying other types and brands this is the one we alway come back to. Wish replacement pot ls were less expensive because the pot is usually the reason we get a new one.

First coffee maker arrived in sealed box missing the carafe cap. How does that happen? Amazon replaced the coffee maker, and it definitely is a great machine. It’s very sleek looking and simple to use. The buttons (more like a flat pad) take just a bit of pressure to start, program or change the time. The water reservoir removes easily for filling as does the coffee basket. It comes with one round water filter disc, and replacement filters are relatively inexpensive. I also purchased the gold filter basket, but found that it tends to be messy to clean. I now only use a paper filter and it’s much better, especially when making a full pot. It makes a nice, hot, rich cup of coffee on the normal setting but I only tried the “strong “ setting once, as it took considerably longer to brew. The stainless steel carafe keeps the coffee hot for a couple of hours. I do fill it up with hot water the night before, but be sure to only do this if you’re not using the Auto Brew setting! I do think the “minutes from brew time” is unnecessary. Overall, I really like this coffee maker. I would give it a 4.5 stars, with cleaning the coffee basket a bit of a pain, as the grounds tend to rise up in the filter and get onto the round water filter.

The removable water reservoir is nice, however I always worry about dropping it. A separate measured water carafe would be a great addition.

I have used an early version for 30 years before it went out. When I started using this much newer version — I was surprised at all the the improvements. Much faster brewing time, no water left in the reservoir, and a counter of minutes after brewing. Love this product.
