I bought this for my in-laws when their 40-year Mr. Coffee finally bit the dust. Mother in law has been using the pot for three months now and she loves it. She says it’s easy to clean and the coffee tastes great. She also likes the programmable feature.

I like this coffee maker because of how well the coffee tastes. Once you figure you how many scoops you prefer, it consistently produces the same flavor. We make about 3 pots of coffee every day so the makers seem to last just one year, some times less, before plastic parts begin to break. I’ve tried other brands with more features and a lot more money and have never been as satisfied with the taste as with Mr. Coffee.One ergonomic issue I have is with the placement of the brew, timer, and clock buttons. They are up high where the basket is, and vertical. It is very difficult to see without bending down, and once I do that I can’t see through the near-vision part of my eye glasses. Other Mr Coffee models have the buttons and clock on the hot plate section of the maker, which is at the bottom, and they face up toward the ceiling. On those models, the buttons are are very easy to see and set properly.

I made the mistake of buying the less expensive model of this coffee maker when my old one stopped working. Big mistake! Within 48 hours I was looking for an upgrade. This model has automatic turnoff and a filter for the water which the other one did not. The difference in the taste of coffee was remarkable. Won’t make this mistake again. Great coffee maker. Highly recommend!

This is a very nice coffee maker with easy controls. Has two really nice features that make it a top choice: The design has a flat top that lets you put stuff on top of it, and it has a little indicator on the bottom that has the number of hours the coffee has been brewing.Fill the tank all the way to the brim to get a full 10 cups in the pot. Good one.

We replaced a three-year-old Braun with this Mr. Coffee and couldn’t be happier! The Braun gave up the ghost after only three years with no offered fix from the manufacturer. The most irritating thing about the Braun was that it was SO difficult to program and see the indicator board. The Mr. Coffee makes terrific coffee, has some neat features but most of all it’s SIMPLE and easy to read the indicators. I don’t need another appliance that’s making me crazy and Mr. Coffee came through!

When it first arrived, my thought was this is cheap; however, it has actually been the best design yet! It fits well under the counter, coffee comes out good and hot. We’ve had BUNN, Mr Coffee, Cuisinart & Hamilton Beach. This one is easy to use, & the basket does not have a handle that flips in the way upon emptying. Love this machine!!
