  1. Alan S.

Arrived today in time for morning cuppa. Very fast delivery. Great quality item, nice size, holds lots. Great cup of coffee (brewed on gas hob in no time at all). Looks like it’s going to be a permanent replacement for my electric filter coffee maker. Easy to clean. No de-scaling, a must for every coffee lover.

  2. Michael G Pasipanki

I had a tin camp style percolator that I had used for several years without any issues except that the lid knob constantly fell off and the lid hinge would get bent out of shape. This coffee pot is fantastic though. I am very happy with it thus far. It cleans easily, the basket assembly is decent quality. Percolator filters sit right in the basket if you want to use them to help keep grinds out. I don’t use them myself but you can.It makes piping hot brew and does a great job.

Got up the other morning and the electricity was off due to a storm. I got a #10 can and a coat hanger and made a hobo stove that I fired with some pine cones. I made a couple of great pots of coffee and the soot cleaned right off of the pot.

I like my coffee smooth, not bitter and to do this I use less grinds. The manual says 1 tablespoon of grinds to cups. That is too much for me. I used so far, 1 teaspoon per cup at a 9-cup pot. I will probably bring this up to 9 teaspoons a pot. I also use spring water. (I started with 7 and have worked up)When the manual says 7 to 10 min a pot, it means «after» it starts to show in the glass bulb. So, it needs to boil first then start to time it. I always put mine down to low after it starts to boil because it is plenty hot and will still burn your mouth if you don’t let it cool slightly when done. The manual suggests this too. Run it between medium to low.Tomorrow I will start 9 teaspoons to 9 cups and see. It’s almost perfect as it is. But like I said, I like my coffee light to medium. No stiff coffee for me thanks. It’s smooth, not bitter, and smells great throughout the house. I use my grocery store coffee out of the can, not fresh ground.

I bought the smaller 9 cup unit. We replaced a 4 cup Fabeware electric unit. I wish the unit had a snap close lid so you didn’t have to hold it closed when pouring.I like that it has no plastic parts in it or on it.You should note that it’s not really a 9 cup coffeemaker. It has a 9 cup mark on the outside which equals the bottom holes in the spout which is the maximum level they recommend for brewing. When I measured the amount of water that this 9 cup mark and the bottom spout holes equals it turned ou to be 39 oz. So with a standard 12 oz coffee mug that is filled to about 10 oz (so it’s not to the brim), you can make 4 cups instead of 9 cups. I don’t have a problem because we like a 4 cup size maker, but not sure why they think 4 oz would be considered a cup size. Once it starts Percolating (bubbles hitting the glass knob on top) we time it for 6-7 min and then turn off the heat and let it drip for maybe 5 min and it does not over cook the coffee. Did buy it on a daily deal so that made it better, but bottom line it it makes great coffee.

I ordered the Eurolux coffee percolator not really knowing what to expect. I’ve used a Keurig single cup coffee maker for several years. The Eurolux percolator makes such a rich tasting cup of coffee. You can control the strength of your coffee with the amount of coffee added and the length of time you allow it to perk.I would recommend ordering the Eurolux replacement filters to use instead of the «suggested» filters Amazon recommends. With the suggested filters, my coffee was full of grounds. I prefer to not chew my coffee.

I like the percolator, inspecting all the parts, the weight, and any imperfections. Specifically like the heft and size, packed well and with instructions. After a wash and towel dry, tomorrow morning’s coffee will be a treat. Electric percolators only wash the coffee once and you throw away so much flavor and strength.I will be updating this review very soon. But so far, very nice!My second observation: The instruction booklet was extremely vague and poorly written, as if by someone without a serious command of the English language and sentence structure.Next, no specifics on the amount of water to coffee ratio. For people who have never made coffee in a stove percolator, this would be extremely important. None was given. I am not a novice. Thus far, I remain reasonably optimistic that this percolator will deliver, given the price. Does anyone know where this was made? More to follow. This morning, August 11, 2022, finally made that all-important first coffee. I am enjoying my first cup as I write this final review. My father had a stove percolator when I was a boy, but he boiled his coffee too strong. Knowing when to stop is just as important as how much water to coffee. And I don’t drink my coffee from those small store-bought mugs, mine hold a good 18oz. which allows for further steeping, and no, they are not glass but ceramic from Pfaltzgraff. I am watching the steam radiate from the mug, which further indicates a great temperature for driking.Final analysis: rich, bold, aromatic flavor. I like Yuban coffee, Traditional Roast, which gives a balanced flavor, not too bitter as strong dark roast, and not too light as other coffees. And I had a Keurig, which was the same as an electric percolator which runs water through ONCE! Not the same as BOILING! Notice I said HAD. And the Keurig cups are way too expensive for something, «washed with hot water» once and thrown away. A WASTE!In conclusion, I know this was a lot to read, but this IS my review as I even end my first wonderful mug of delicious coffee. For the price, not expensive, do not buy cheap, I think this is a winner. Great coffee to the very bottom of the mug! This is how you make and drink your coffee.Enjoy, I did!Updated review, September 1, 2022First, drop the filters. Not necessary! This percolator delivers a great mug, I said mug, not cup. A mug is 16 to 18oz. of steaming hot perfectly brewed coffee, first time every time. This is percolator is the real deal. Stainless steel for lasting beauty, heat retention, and a great MUG of coffee. Not all of my reviews have been acceptable because I call products for their worth, but this is a real winner!Open campfire or the stove, this is what you want for coffee in the morning, or any time!

  8. Abrego

I really like it. Its reliable and there’s nothing like percolator coffee. I do use filters but many don’t. The pot itself is great for heating water and I use it for pour over coffee.Warning — don’t leave it unattended with a small volume. If it boils dry it is a little difficult to clean.

  9. J. Colella

For a stovetop/camp percolator, this coffee maker is gorgeous, it makes wonderful coffee, and is easy to clean and maintain. It arrived in perfect condition and earlier than expected. I’m absolutely delighted with it, and kudos to the seller and to Amazon.

  10. Lisa

Bought this for the old school flavor of coffee did exactly what I wanted it to do. Would recommend this if you want perked coffee
