Having always used bean to cup machines, I thought I’d already hit the peak of coffee quality at home until I bought this unit. The milk frother makes much better milk than any machine I’ve had before. The coffee tastes amazing quality (I’ve been using lavazza beans and grinding them at home). It takes up much less space on my worktop than my old machine and all seems very simple to take apart and put together again. Love the QR code on the side, gave really simple instructions on getting the best out of the machine. From a brand I recognise and trust which is a +.

Lets start with what I didn’t like about this machine as there is not a lot, the machine does feel a bit light weight and when twisting on and off the filter housing you will need to have one hand over the top to stop it from tilting over. A minor detail but could be important in a busy morning at a rush. Milk froth does work but I could not get the same foamy as high street, it enough to make a creamy texture coffee but won’t be doing foamy graphic with stencils and coco powder.I love the small foot print of the machine, slim and will fit between most appliance you already have like toaster, kettle or in our case rice cooker. The silver metal style makes it very easy to wipe clean and blends in well. The buttons are on top and back lit so you don’t always need to have a fully lit kitchen to use the machine. The amount of water for 1 cup and 2 cup can be adjusted to your cup size, not the most straight forward to do but once it is done you can get consistent cup size and a perfect cup of coffee every time. The water tank is around 20 cups of expresso or 10 double cups. Water tank is at the rear of the machine which is a minor annoyance as you cannot see the water level from the front but we learnt to live with that and just make sure we top up water every other day as a routine. The drip tray comes apart for easy cleaning and it will fit a full size mug so you are not limited to using small expresso cup for coffee. The coffee filter is a double wall basket and we have no problem with different grind of coffee with it. It does have a retaining dot which you line up with the holder to stop it from coming loose when tapping out the coffee grind, a bit fiddly but it does work.Overall I think this is a great first espresso machine which is not too complicated to use and compact enough to blend in with rest of the kitchen appliances.

Morphs Richards traditional pump expresso machine arrived carefully packed and in perfect condition. This pump espresso coffee machine is excellent. This coffee machine is compact, slim and is smaller than I expected. It does not take up too much space on my kitchen counter. It’s beautifully designed in stainless steel that feels great quality. It’s simple and straightforward to use. It quickly to heat up, so you won’t have to wait for long. The milk frother pipe works great and makes an amazing creamy frothy milk. You can make a variety of coffee drinks as espresso, cappuccino, flat white, latte and others. You will just need to follow the instructions. You can easily brew double serving.I did not find it difficult to clean but it’s recommended to keep on the top of the maintenance. This machine needs to be descales regularly. The machine will flash when is time for descaling.Overall, I am very happy with my order and I would recommend this coffee machine to anyone looking for a quality traditional cup of coffee. ??

This is a great looking espresso machine if you want barista style without the overly complicated messing that comes with a full on coffee machine and avoids the recycling waste of aluminium pods. This is easy to use, like a slightly more manual nespresso machine and takes up about the same workspace as a Virtuo machine, which is an added bonus. The milk frothing wand works well and I’ll be practicing my latte art, that I can’t do :DReally easy to use, with great instructions.Simple to clean.Really impressive.

This is sleek and stylish, ideal for small kitchens, this compact stainless steel machine does all to make the perfect expresso. Easy to use, great design and makes great coffee. Milk forth is great and when I learnt the technique makes lovely frothy milk and a great cappuccino. Saving a fortune making different coffee’s at home.

This is a nice size so doesn’t take up too much room on my kitchen side. The water tank is easy to remove and fill. I use filtered water. The drip tray is handy for holding any drips. This is perfect if you want to make two espressos. The frothing wand is a perfect addition to make my favourite coffee- a latte.Stainless steel so easy enough to wipe clean.I have a favourite ground coffee and this is perfect for making a lovely coffee with it. I’m very happy with this coffee machine.

The media could not be loaded. I like coffee, this machine makes coffee, match made in coffee heaven. It’s a slimline machine which is great as my kitchen countertop is already full! The water tank is positioned at the back which means you can’t push the machine against the wall. The wire isn’t the longest but it’ll do. Using ground coffee, it’s very easy to set up and use. The milk frother is very good — it took a few goes to get the level of froth I want but I really enjoy this function. For the price, this is a superb machine. My only complaint is emptying the used ground coffee. Its designed with a flimsy clip. Tried once, ended up rummaging through the bin as it didn’t hold in place. Otherwise it’s a superb machine for coffee lovers and coffee machine novices like me.

If you like a proper espresso pump coffee then this machine will be right up your street. I also have a full bean to cup machine but there is something nice about grinding the beans yourself and packing the bowl. The machine does a really good job at delivering a rich brew that does a good job at extracting the full flavour from the beans used. The machine gets the temperature pretty quickly and the steam wand does a great job if you want to make a milky coffee. It’s relatively easy to clean the long after use meaning overall the maintenance of the machine is very low and really easy to clean.

The Morphy Richards Traditional Pump Espresso machine is a great investment for any coffee lover who wants to enjoy a high-quality espresso at home. The machine is easy to use and produces a delicious espresso with a rich crema. I appreciate that it has a milk frother, which allows me to make cappuccinos and lattes at home. The machine is also well-designed and looks great on my countertop. Overall, This machine to anyone who wants to enjoy a cafe-quality espresso at home.

As a regular espresso drinker (two in the morning and a double again after my evening meal) I can say that this Morphy Richards Compact Traditional Pump Espresso machine makes a very reasonable drink. You can pay anything up to and over £3000 for a top of the range espresso machine of course. But the vast majority of us who just want and simple to use and maintain machine, that doesn’t take up a whole lot of kitchen worktop space, this compact machine will more than serve its purpose. Its well made and comes with an easy to understand user guide. Unless your a really obsesive coffee connoisseur who cares about every teeny tiny aspect of your coffee making and drinking experience, this machine is well worth a try
