I had recently purchased a generic brand called «MIXPRESSO» which I only used for 1 week and the thin glass carafe cracked and then there would not cooperate with even selling me a replacement part! I do not recommend purchasing that brand ?My review of this B&D ..first off I would like to say that this vendor went above and beyond with paying for additional packaging with a snug fit box for additional protection and anonymity vs others that would simply reuse the manufacturer packaging allowing people to see your purchase and lesser of a degree of protection during shipment -instant 5 star ?Pros: a durable glass carafe, decent sized digital readout-easy to use interface, see-through water level on exterior, permanent filter .. overall I am very impressed with the engineering and quality of parts which actually has part numbers in case you need replacementsCons: none that I can say from my experience as a new owner .. possibly some nitpicks/gripes — B&D should have used a metal carafe wish I’ve seen on their other coffee maker models but without grindr .. no worries; I would typically pour into my 32 oz metal CONTIGO travel thermos (highly recommend it and keeps coffee warm for hours)a very happy customer ??% .. This is a great coffee pot. My old coffee pot was so difficult to fit with a new glass container and my burr grinder finally died. So I wanted to replace all this with one machine. I couldn’t be happier with this one. What’s important to me is being easy to clean and this certainly is. I consider myself a real coffee snob and I’m enjoying the way this grinds my beans and I’m enjoying the way it brews. No complaints. The price was great but this is a $200 quality machine.

Not only did I receive my order in less than 48 hours, I tried it out right away. This is a great machine, the grind is fantastic and the taste and aroma is great. I do recommend running a full tank of fresh water through it before brewing your first pot of coffee.

Black and Decker have been around for years and for good reason… THIS MAKER! Stay away from no-name grinder coffee makers. This is a very reliable coffee maker/grinder and EVERY part is removable for cleaning. You are able to clean and replace EVERY PART of this maker. The owner’s manual gives you part numbers for every replaceable part. The coffee grinder is precise and quiet even at 4AM. The coffee is delicious every time. You need to buy and try this. ONLY from Black and Decker with it’s 12 cup capacity. and the timer you can set to shut its self off up to 120 min.

I love this built in grinder. Taste the same as the coffee french press. Save up more counter space. French press,grinder, and kettle had been stored away.

If you follow the instructions for pre-cleaning as well as regular cleaning and maintenance, this gives you convenience and a great tasting cup of coffee. It’s not too loud when grinding the beans. Cleanup is easy. I would recommend.

Our Krups crapped out and wanted a coffee maker that simply makes 6 cups. The other are all make 10 or make 1-4. How stupid. Easy to clean and keeps coffee hot.

Best of all grind and brew machines available because THERE IS ONLY ONE GOLD TONE BASKET TO CLEAN!I was just going to buy it until I could navigate which super- expensive machine to buy because our grinder broke, but turns out that this is a keeper! I love the deep, dark taste with a little grit at the bottom. Cheers B&D and thanks! Oh, my only wish is that it was available with a thermal carafe.
