For starters Iam completely new to making coffee from beans or ground coffee and i always buy instant coffee. I thought screw it i want nice coffees at home so i got this a grinder and some coffee beans. Followed instructions and BAM! Delicious coffee thats easy to make and easy to clean up afterwards!All you need to do is clean the pot out the box and always remember to remove the rubber ring (get a butter knife or table knife slide it under the ring and pull with your finger on top of the rubber and it comes loose easily and goes back on easily) then scrub inside all the funnels and top/bottom with washing up liquid. Then once its washed and dry fill the bottom half of the pot with water just underneath the gold steam vent at the bottom (this may hiss or dribble dont panic its normal) then get your ground coffee beans or preground coffee get one scoops worth of coffee grounds put them inside the bottom funnel, dont compact it just layer it out then screw on the top half and put it on a *GAS* hob NOT ELECTRIC/Induction on low heat or low/medium heat for 5 minutes until you see the coffee (lift the lid slightly to check) bubbleing up the center into the top half of the pot once its nearly full turn off the heat and pour it into your favourite coffee drinking object mines a mug and there we are! Delicious easy coffee thats made in a cool looking speckled pot that you can get replacement parts from the website if needed and easy to store and clean.You dont need to be a snob to own one and anyone can use it. 🙂 also this makes 1 mug of coffee or two expresso shots worth per serving :).
