Why Cold Brew?
Cold Brew coffee, by definition, is brewed without introducing heat; since the coffee grounds aren’t exposed to high temps, cold brew coffee usually tastes more flavorful and less bitter than hot coffee. The brewing process with room temperature water brings out different flavors from the coffee bean than when brewing with heat. Cold brewed coffee has a less acidic, super-smooth, yet more pronounced flavor than hot brewed coffee. Cold brew coffee can be served hot, cold, or even over ice.

I’ve just been using this device for a couple of days, and I’m very happy with it. It is very easy to use and easy to clean.It took some searching in our stores to find pre-ground coffee that is medium or coarse grind — many brands don’t specify on the package — but we got some Bizzy «Smooth and Sweet» cold-brew grind via Amazon. That works really well in the Vinci, and the resulting coffee tastes really good and is easy on the stomach. I am going to experiment a bit with cycling the thing twice to get stronger concentrate, and to get all the coffee flavor out of the beans, but it’s good as-is. Can’t tell yet if the brewer is reliable, but it seems very well built.

I was skeptical when I came across this device, that it could actually make cold brew without the overnight “steeping” in the refrigerator. But lo and behold, the Vinci knows no boundaries! This is some of the best coffee I have ever had. The coffee is bursting with flavor, and very low acid. Crisp, clean and cold in 5-8 minutes for my light brew. From what I’ve read it would be about 20 minutes for the highest setting — “extra bold”. And I love watching my cream mix with the cold brew. I got a coffee grinder with a coarse grind setting and just buy whole beans. Which is a little cheaper than buying special bags of cold brew coffee beans, and opens up a whole world of coffee flavor options. It does take a lot of coffee to brew. But you end up with a whole carafe of coffee that can be stored in the fridge in its lovely glass carafe. I would buy this a thousand times over. I am so happy with this coffee maker! Easy prep and clean up. But you do need to clean it out right away if you don’t want to clog it up. I will meticulously pamper this device until it dies, and then I will buy another. Vive le café!

This Vinci Express Cold Brew machine is a game changer. It delivers Cold Brew coffee in 5 (five) minutes. Fill it with coarse ground coffee, add water and press the brew button — 5 minutes later black liquid gold appears. It is freaking magical. The only update, and this is really nitpicking, that I would make for the 2024 version is to simplify the cleaning process — maybe biodegradable earth friendly filters. Buy it!

I bought this for my daughter so she wouldn’t have to water her coffee down with melted ice in hot coffee. It’s so simple and quick to use and clean! I make it at night, then it goes right in the fridge and lasts for several days. She said it’s the best coffee she has ever had!

I want to start by saying anyone who claims this brewer makes weak coffee is probably using terrible coffee to begin with or the wrong grind. I just completed my first brew and it came out perfect. I will share what i use so readers can compare:1. First of all, you always need to pick good coffee. I personally use La Colombe because they are an amazing coffee roaster who I had the pleasure of watching grow in the city we are both from. They are inexpensive for the quality and can be bought right here on amazon now.2. I grind my coffee fresh from whole bean. That being said, I use a $30 electric grinder from Walmart that requires you to count the time for the right coarse, but it works fantastic as long as you can keep track of 10-20 seconds.3. For my first brew I used unrefrigerated bottled water. Room temperature as per the instructions but also filtered. I plan to buy an extra water filter jug to keep outside of the fridge (also great for house plants!)4. I ran the brew on extra bold. The color looked light but the flavor was immense without anything added to it. This is why I suggest getting good coffee.As someone who drinks coffee for the flavor more than the caffeine, I am extremely satisfied with my first go at this machine. If you want a flavor that feels *thick* all you have to do is brew it on extra bold once and then medium-extra bold a 2nd round and it will be DENSE. But the first round was more than satisfactory. Take my advice and use the right coffee and, if you can, grind it fresh. If you can’t, I suggest buying coffee specifically for cold brew so it is ground properly for you. This machine states to NOT EVER use fine ground, so do NOT use standard pre-ground coffee.If you love coffee enough to get this machine then you love it enough to make it right. If you can manage that, this is a great investment.

Right out of the box it brewed fresh cold brew in 10 minutes!!! I used the 10 min Medium setting, and I was blown away!!! Great flavor, mixed easily with milk & sugar subs. Best Part: NO 18-24 hr steep in the fridge anymore for my house!!! Sorry to sing so much praise, but I’m a believer!!!!

I don’t even post reviews on Amazon, but I had to come on here and review this product. If you like cold brew, this is the best thing I’ve found, and I’ve tried a lot of different methods!The brewing process is crazy, what usually takes me overnight or an entire day now takes 15 to 20 minutes from start to finish. The little bit of preparation and cleanup is worth it for the amazing flavor and quality of coffee.I didn’t think I could find anything that would let me brew at home and get the same flavors I get at some of my favorite coffee shops, but this thing does it!

I tend to prefer cold coffee drinks when ordering out.Even grocery cold brews are pricey for the few glasses you get and canned cold brew is even more expensive.I tried a Ninja coffee maker with cold brew functions and wasn’t impressed with the quality of coffee you get.This is an easy cold brew (how quickly depends on how dark you want it) and only requires room temp water and seven scoops of coffee grinds. Love the glass carafe.I did feel my first time required following the instructions, but easy after that.
