I’ve used Mr Coffee machines for a good twenty years. I never saw a point in buying more expensive coffee makers. Some of the Mr Coffee machines I had were «ok» while others «meh.» I generally bought them since they are the perfect size (4-5 cups) for up to two individuals to enjoy coffee. Plus they fit in the kitchenette of my small studio apartment.After my previous machine «melted» from 7 years of owning it, I decided to hunt for another Mr Coffee machine. I wasn’t expecting anything fabulous, but this particular model really amazed me. I generally never used any reusable filter (due to bad experiences in the past and difficulty in cleaning them), but the filter on this one is PERFECT — especially, since I drink Bustelo coffee that has finer grinds.Pros:- The improved cylindrical cup is very easy to clean.- The reusable filter employs a smart design (by having a flat, solid bottom), making it extremely easy to clean.- It’s programmable, so you can set it to brew your coffee and have it ready first thing when you wake up in the morning.Cons:- I find the water filter to be useless (just like with any other coffee machines that offer them) and will only attribute to further condensation in some parts of the machine. I think it’s best to generally use pre-filtered water anyhow.- It takes a long time to re-heat coffee that’s sat around in the coffee cup.I didn’t want an overly complicated machine. This machine has all the basic necessities and brews coffee exceptionally well — better than any other Mr Coffee machine I have owned before. I am extremely pleased with it, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect, small coffee machine.

I used to have the 4 cup coffee make and loved it until it broke after years of use. I use this coffee maker every day and sometimes program it to go off at a specific time. Love waking up to the smell of coffee ready and waiting for me. If you’re looking for a simplistic and programmable coffee maker, try this one out.

I am having to replace this because it lasted about 18 months. At this point it does work but takes 1 hr brew 5 cups. I cleaned it regularly but the heating element shot. I was a little disappointed.

Small but amazing! Little thing that has coffee ready by 7 am! Doesn’t take up a lot of room and it works great. Easy to clean and I couldn’t ask for more. Love the reusable filter!

We don’t drink coffee often (usually tea) so this little maker is great for our friends who do. We used it when family came to visit and it was a perfect amount and small enough to put away after, without taking up a ton of space.

If you’re looking for a big coffee machine, you may be interested in their other products. This is more a size for college students, if you live in an RV or go on a road trip. It’s enough for ~2-3 average size mugs of coffee. Very intimate!I love that it’s super easy to clean, does not take up a lot of counter space, has a reusable mesh so we can save on coffee filters and the beeping isn’t too loud.I’m satisfied!
