We had this coffee maker about 7 years ago. When it finally died, we had a back up we used. The back up was on its last days, so we found this one on Amazon. It is easy to use and has great tasting coffee on the strong brew . Like that it tells us when to clean. Higher priced then the regular Mr. Coffee, but we think it is worth it.

This does exactly what is needed, without gimmicks (grind your beans for you) — has a useful timer function to set up the night before and come down to fresh coffee and a strong/normal option. Runs reliably and consistently.

I bought this coffee maker based on other customer reviews, its price and for the features it had. I’ve only been using it for a week, but so far, so good. Pros: We have hard water (and a softener that sometimes makes tap water taste off) so that water filter has come in handy. Compared to other comparable coffee makers we’ve used, this one has the best taste.The water is easy to fill. I tend to be clumsy and rush, I haven’t had any spillage yet. There are a few cons though, and these are strictly personal preference.The clock and buttons are not backlit at all. The only things that light up are the indicator lights, telling me things like the delay brew is set and the strength selected.As indicated, the shut-off timer is two hours. My last coffee maker had a 4 hour timer and we’ve gotten spoiled on that.Overall, I am quite pleased with this purchase. Time will tell how durable this coffeemaker is.

This coffee maker suits my needs. I am not a fussy coffee drinker. I buy whatever brand is on sale, and don’t understand the Starbuck’s needs of some. But I do like coffee in the morning, and had to replace a very old Mr Coffee. My only real requirements were a programmable timer, and one that got good reliability reviews. I looked at fancier, more expensive machines, but saw poor quality reviews at every price point. Seems every coffee maker has a mix of good and bad reviews, no matter how much they cost. I decided to not overspend, and went for this one. Have had no problem with it. It’s simple to use, and looks nice. I am happy with my purchase.Update: after 1 1/2 yrs of daily use, it has conked out. It was fine and then just didn’t work anymore. I didn’t expect it to last forever, but wish it had gone a little longer.

Great coffee maker, this is second one. Have one for coffee and another for Ice tea making by the gallon. to replace my other older models that have been going for a few years but installed a reverse osmosis water system for Ice, coffee and tea, as my water is great but has lots of lime in it so have to clean every few weeks so that is why the RO system. Make coffee and tea crystal clear, and should not have to clean anywhere near as often, other unit I got at end of 2016 and has not needed cleaning yet. Great coffee maker made even better with RO system

I haven’t had any issues which others here have talked about. I got this coffee maker for $12 on amazon as a warehouse deal in «very good» condition and was skeptical. But it arrived in perfectly new condition in mr. coffee box with all the parts and the manual. This was super easy to program as well. I have never ever used a coffee maker before so if I can do it anyone can. Just follow the manual. Now I am waking up to French vanilla. And I don’t know what other reviewers meant by it being slow to brew coffee. It made my 6 cups in less than a minute! And I did not think it was noisy at all. So far so good. If things change I will update this review.
