My wife and I used to make stovetop espresso every morning back when we had time for that. After our first kid we went with a normal drip coffee maker, but when that broke we finally gave in and got this Keurig Duo. It’s not the best cup of coffee but when you only have a minute in the morning to make a cup while dodging flying pancakes from the little one it makes do. Overall I find most k-cups we’ve tried at the 8oz setting to be too weak to my taste but it’s servicable coffee. If you get the refillable cup I’d go with a fine grind since the more coarse grind makes a very diluted coffee even at 8oz. No complaints with the drip coffee part though, keeps the pot warm for about an hour or so and reheats fairly quickly.

I love my strong hot mugs of coffee which I make in the carafe every morning. I was happily surprised at the good flavor. Setting it is a bit of a dance in the morning, but I have gotten used to it. There are multiple steps and buttons to push to set it. I always preheat the carafe with hot water before setting it and my coffee stays piping hot for between 3 and 4 hours. The individual cup seems not quite as hot. It didn’t work one time until I took out the old coffee and filter from the morning coffee. No big deal and now it works. I wish keurig made larger individual mugs. 12 ounces doesn’t fill my 16 ounce mugs very far, but I have adjusted.

This pot makes the best coffee! I love the ease of the removable water reservoir and the ability to put it on either side or in the back. We travel full time in an RV so space is very important. This sits on the same pod holder drawer but because of its slim design I can also put my smoothie blender in it too saving even more space. I love the ability to brew a pot or a pod. The thermal carafe keeps coffee warmer for longer than my previous coffee maker. Highly recommend this machine!!

I was a difficult decision. We love our Keurig 2.0(purchased in 2014) that was still working great and our Zojrushi (purchased second one in 2011) It is still working perfectly. Now the question is, Will this coffee pot serve our needs for a long time? We have seen complaints that it only lasts for about a year and a half. I am giving away our old coffee makers so hopefully this is not the case for us.So far, we have had it for a week and are very happy. It takes up so much less counter space and makes a great cup of coffee. Though we had to brew 8 cups instead of our usual 6 because they call 5 oz a cup. I wish the water reservoir was larger. We do have to fill it every day since we brew a carafe in the morning.

I’m not a coffee drinker but I do appreciate having extra counter space that this provides. We had a single serve Keurig and a Cuisinart 12 cup on the counter. I don’t have much counter space so we got rid of both and now have this make/model. And it’s also not super tall so I was able to move off the counter completely and onto the shelf of my kitchen storage cabinet.

UPDATE: Keurig made good on the warranty and replaced my problematic Duo-plus with a new one. The process was a little cumbersome(lot of photos, follow-up). I understand that, they want to prove someone actually made the purchase, and aren’t just looking for a free machine. I give them 5-start in customer service.we purchased the K-duo plus January 30th 2022, so have had it just about a year, and it has worked perfectly until just a couple weeks ago(so approximately 1 year). The kcup lid has started pushing itself open prior to the brewing cycle completed. I had originally though it was happening at the end of the cycle, but today I was in the kitchen, the lid pushed up and I decided to close it and hold it closed. The brewing cycle then completed itself. It acts like maybe there is too much pressure, but I would think there would be an actual releif valve in the system rather than the lid just being pushed open. I have contacted the manufacturer regarding this, as I found no online help for this behavior. I do want to add, we really like the machine, just don’t think I should have to purchase one every year.

I don’t normally write reviews for products that work as advertised. But I think the Keurig Duo plus delivers more than I had expected. It sits neatly in the corner on the countertop. The removable water reservoir means I no longer drip water on the countertop when refilling the water. The pull-out/drop-down coffee filter holder (for the carafe brew) has great access, which means no more scattering grounds about when adding grounds. The illuminated mode buttons are intuitive and easy to read. It is actually a fun little toy that makes me smile.

This unit replaced a Cousinart combo coffee pot that i ordered, but the pod unit on that machine malfunctioned. So I looked for a different design and manufacturer.I’m happy with this unit. unlike other units it has one water tank in the back of the coffee maker to feed hot water to either the coffee pot, or the single serving pod. Here’s my only nick-pic — when you fill up the water container it’s pretty easy to spill some water if your coffee pot isn’t near the sink (or the refrigerator in my case since I use a line that feeds from the reverse osmosis filter in the basement). BTW, using filtered water like this will substantially cut down on your clean of this coffee pot. Despite their (and my) shortcoming, I gave it a full recommendation.

I was just a little trigger shy to spend so much on a coffee maker for personal home use but I’m so glad I did! This Full Pot/K-Cup Duo has more than exceeded my expectations. I had read reviews on how difficult it was to use the timer option so it would brew each morning at the same time but those reviews were not correct. Using the auto on option is extremely easy and I have no regrets I spent the extra money for that option. It’s easy to clean…easy to use… and makes great coffee

I’m so pleased with this new coffee pot. I’m using it a bit differently as I want the Keurig pots for making tea — specifically iced team…… the brew pot is hot and at the ready with the programmed coffee carafe in the morning and I’m happy!
