I read some past reviews shortly after purchase and was a bit concerned. Things like not working when first received, loud, seems cheap we’re also my initial impression. However, after after some time, it just boiled down to user understanding. This is a great unit for the price. It is a bit loud in comparison to a kurig but it’s mostly likely a larger pump to provide the frothiness like expected and tolerable. Most larger machines sound like this also. I don’t understand why people claim it takes a long time to heat. This is not true. It takes no longer than the kurig. One tip is not to let the container run out of water. Same issue when it comes from new…it takes a few cycles to prime the lines. Just place a coffee mug to receive the water but do not place a kcup or nesspresso so not to waste a pod…until it’s water line is primed. Had this unit for over a month now and completely meets expectation, good unit and good value for decent home brew with nesspresso option.

Hubby and I love that you can use kcups and nesspresso capsules in this machine. (Only the original line as far as I know) when I first got it. I took it out of the box and a black round piece had fallen out. Hubby couldn’t get it back in. I wrote Hamilton beach to see if the piece was needed. While waiting for a response, my youngest son came by and he was able to get it back in. It works perfectly. Hamilton beach did respond and offered a replacement of my choice since that coffee pot was out of stock. I am so happy my son fixed it. I wanted this one, not any other one. Bottom line, it is great.

The carafe part works great but the single cup is terrible. It only brews a very small amount of coffee no matter how much water you put in. The top pops open and I had coffee grounds in the coffee. Had to return two of these coffee makers for the same reasons

So happy with it, the fact that it does both espresso and k-pods coffee. Can’t believe it was so affordable too!

Fits well on counter with room to add water. Love options for Keurig or regular coffee or different size mugs.

Love the flex brew.I can make individual cups of tea or coffee ☕I set the timer so my coffee is ready when I get up. Machine stays on for 2 hrs but if you just turn it off and then on again it adds 2 hrs. The white one is a little hard to clean as it shows the stains more but also helps keep it clean by seeing the stains.

Love my new coffee maker. I use the one-cup side with the reusable filter every day and use the carafe when I have guests. The one-cup side can be used with a ceramic mug as shown, or a taller travel mug by removing the stand underneath it. Simple to use. Only small drawback is that the reusable filter is a little difficult to clean. I try to dump and scrape as much of the used grinds as I can into the garbage, but you have to use some water and dispose of grinds in the sink (which I know is problematic for plumbing). Still, I prefer the reusable option to the single-use k-pods.
