Thinner, cheaper plastic parts than my old Hamilton Beach. I hope this one holds up as well as that one did: more than 30 years. Otherwise it is excellent value for a good price.

We’re very happy with the results of this coffee maker. The coffee is consistent every time, and the flavor is great! There’s no need to pull the carafe at the half way point to get a strong brew! I’d actually recommend letting it finish its cycle for the best cup! And my husband and I seriously need our coffee in the morning!! We can’t even talk to each other until we’ve had our coffee! ? And this coffee maker fits our needs perfectly! LOL

You won’t believe the cup of coffee this little gem makes. I was blown away by the full flavored coffee this thing made. I’ve got some high-end coffee makers that I just wasn’t satisfied with and I remembered reading an article in Consumer Reports about a couple of these real inexpensive coffee makers that they gave real high ratings to, and I’m pretty sure this was one of them. Not being sure, I still went ahead and ordered it, hoping for the best. I was really blown away by just how good this coffee maker was. I’ve been trying all kinds of flavored coffees, as well as my regular medium/dark roast regular coffee. I’m beyond satisfied with each cup and look forward to getting up in the morning again –. Something I haven’t felt in a while now. If you’re on the fence about ordering this, don’t be. I’m pretty sure you’ll be as impressed as I’ve been.
