This replaces a similar Cuisinart coffeemaker that we have had for several years and has always performed well in making excellent coffee and keeping it warm for the period it automatically remains on. Out of the box the new machine was identical to our old one with the exception of the on switch which was modified. We cleaned the coffee maker with white vinegar and water rinse prior to use. When completing our first few pots of coffee the results have been pots of hot great flavored coffee. We feel this Cuisinart product is well worth the price.

This is likely the BEST coffee maker on Amazon. Forget all the other more (or less) expensive coffee makers with functions that you will never use. When you get a new coffee maker it’s ohh and ahh for a few days but once you have to wake up at 5:15am every morning and haul yourself into a thankless job a simple coffee maker is essential. I’ve had drip makers, fancy machines from overseas (you know the one) ones that were SCAA certified on and on and they all had flaws that prevented the one thing I bought them for — tasty hot coffee when I want tasty hot coffee.The main thing I LOVE how easy it is to set the time and auto-on features. No navigating difficult menus only to wake up at 5:15am with no coffee made. Simple is better with coffee and this machine is as simple as it gets. Solid heavy duty construction. Great glass carafe with no dripping. No dripping coffee onto the hot-plate when the carafe is pulled. Knobs are easy to read and turn. Setting the auto-on is the easiest process on any coffee maker or even an alarm clock for that matter.PROS:-Hot coffee.-Tasty coffee.-Evenly distributed water over grounds.-No confusing messy menu or trashy LCD screen.-Easy to program.-Set it and forget it.-Durable. High quality carafe and machine. Lightweight.-Adjustable warming plate.-No useless features.-Easy to clean.CONS:-No fill window on outside (use carafe/pre-measured pitcher/fill lines inside the reservoir.If I could only give one complaint it’s that the water reservoir does not have a clear panel on the side for you to see water level. There are easy to read measurements inside the reservoir though. I don’t use the included carafe to fill the reservoir — I use a Brita pitcher.Buy this coffee maker! It looks retro and after the novelty of having 200+ settings and some elaborate menu system (or even in some cases none at all) wears off all you’re going to want is a hot cup of coffee that tastes good.

I have bought so many cheap coffee pots, will not name the brands. Decided I deserved this…my parents have this pot and are very happy with this also! Great taste, easy to clean and can order your filters much cheaper on Amazon. Most importantly the coffee stays very hot! Yes I would encourage you to try this!!

The coffee brews quickly, stays hot, and tastes the way I like it. Occasionally, it overflows when brewing, so I keep it on a tray that limits the spillage.

Perfect fit for our Cuisinart coffee maker (12 cups). This is our third one since the glass cracks easily. Yet well worth the money and appreciate the super fast shipping!

I was on the fence and still am for if I wanted a coffee brewer vs an Espresso machine. For a coffee brewer this has fully 100% met my expectations. Yes, it does have timer functions and all the expected functions of a coffee brewer. But at the core of it, still just a simple to use pour water up to 12 cups, add 4 tablespoons of ground coffee and turn it on. About 90 minutes later you can hear the beep sounds from across the house that the warmer has shut off.
