    Bought this trying for a good cup of coffee when making only 2-3 cups. It is good. First pot I received, the on/off indicator light stopped working after 3 uses. Notified Amazon and replacement arrived in 2 days. New one is working fine. Like being able to see water level as I add to reservoir. Had to experiment to learn appropriate amounts of coffee and water, but now easy each morning. Prefer to use coffee filters rather than basket provided. Easy to clean.

    This is just what I needed. Excellent little pot. It measures 5 cups and I just two good-sized mugs out of it. Can’t beat it for the price. No filters and easy to clean.

    I like simple, functional coffee makers and for years I was a big Mr. Coffee fan until my latest Mr. Coffee coffee maker purchase. I was on the hunt for a small 5-cup coffee maker that would produce a good cup of coffee, function properly, and have features such as an easy to clean carafe and no-drip stopper when removing the carafe from the coffee maker. After a lot of research and reading many reviews, I decided to give this Black and Decker a go. I have been pleasantly surprised since the moment I took the coffee maker from the box. I like that the water view is on the left side, the blue on and off switch, the fact that the carafe opening is large enough to fit my hand inside so it can be properly cleaned, and that the lid is not attached to the handle with plastic lugs that easily break. The lid is simply held in place by moulded plastic bumps on the lid so that when pushing the lid down or up they expand and contract. Furthermore, I have never had coffee spill on the burner when removing the carafe from the machine!!! The no-drip mechanism actually functions and works unlike on all of my previous Mr. Coffee machines, which I was constantly having to wipe up or have a paper towel handy to catch the drips, and ultimately, the Mr. Coffee machine hot plate protective coating always began to peel off. I can see this Black and Decker lasting for a very long time. I am very happy with this machine and would highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a simple, small, and functional coffee maker for the home or office.

    Looked around for a simple, 4-cup coffee pot that did not have the auto shut off. (In case I want to take more than an hour to drink my 4 cups of coffee.) I know I have to be extra careful to make sure I turn it off, but I do not have to put up with the coffee pot telling me when I am finished. Now, if I could just find an old fashioned iron that doesn’t shut off after a measly 8 minutes!

    This is my third small coffee maker this past year, some of these small coffee makers are just not made very well..I just want a good full mug of coffee, no facy buttons, just on and off and make a decent tasting coffee.So far this is doing just fine, easy access to fill water tank, you can use the basket or paper filter, I use both..My husband has his Bunn, I prefer these small coffee makers for a good fresh cup a couple times a day. Nothing to complain about, it’s working out just fine.
