Once you get through the learning curve, this coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee. The learning curve is arduous but definitely worth it. There are enough different settings to please any coffee taste.

I had never tried pour over coffee before. I had previously owned a Keurig but was tired of the kcups and the coffee just wasn’t good. This coffeemaker is a game changer. Smooth, great tasting coffee without any sediment at the bottom of the cup. There’s a bit of a learning curve with the digital controls but it didn’t take long to master. I have only used the automatic option for brewing (but have since purchased a gooseneck kettle to try the manual method). It lights up beautifully when brewing, is relatively quiet and looks great on the countertop. Highly recommend.

I’d never had pour over coffee, but I was certainly getting tired, bored and fed up with the taste of many coffee makers (drip and pod). I did my research, but was hesitant to buy a Hamilton Beach coffee maker vs Breville. Never the less I did, mainly based on reviews and I’m glad I took the chance. Coffee definitely tastes better. You can tell that it’s not just dripping hot water onto grounds: there is definitely a unique method to this coffee maker. Having a measuring guide help you determine how much grounds to add is unique and useful. I don’t use that feature all the time now that I know what I like. The initial set up is fairly easy as long as you read/follow directions. Then it’s fairly intuitive.

This thing makes the best coffee I’ve ever had from home! I was debating between this, the Breville, or the Technivorm and I think I made the right choice (and saved money!) I also had a Bonavita for a while but it quit working a few years in. It made good coffee, and has been recommended as the best brewer on all sorts of websites, but honestly this thing is better and I don’t really think it’s that close. It’s not as complicated to set up as other reviews make it sound, and the built in scale is a revelation. As a bonus, this thing is so easy to clean! Everything that touches coffee comes apart and can be thrown in the dishwasher or easily cleaned by hand. Really the only complaint I have is I wish it was 12 cups.If you’re debating this or the more expensive SCA certified brewers, just go with this.

We’ll so far I’m really loving the coffee maker!! Some reviews say there’s no replacement for the glass coffee carafe, if you go on Hamilton beach web page there are replacement carafe and other parts. So far the Brew has been great. Really great taste and nice and hot. Easy to follow directions too. I haven’t used the programmable setting yet but I will with the start of the work week,I highly recommend this coffee maker!!

The media could not be loaded. We’ve been using this coffee maker for over a month now and the coffee still tastes just a great as the first cup!It would be nice if you didn’t have to consistently hold the ‘SELECT’ button down to get through all of the options, but that’s just a minor gripe. The looks of this Hamilton Beach Automated Pour over is sleek and interesting. It’s not as bulky as your average coffee maker. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on it, not just for the coffee it makes, but for the looks of it as well.

Hamilton Beach outdid themselves on this one! I was looking at much more expensive brewers but this one’s price point, ease of use, and ability to do my own pour-over sealed the deal! It is actually fun to make coffee, however, be careful…I am on third pot today and am starting to see noises!! Lol! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

I know it seems expensive, but after going through several Cuisinarts, Mr. coffee, ninja, pots. I tried this one and the coffee is excellent! It does look pretty cool on the countertop also, which doesn’t hurt. Easy to operate. my daughter stopped by for coffee, and then ordered one the next day, and she’s on a tight budget. LOL
