Excellent coffee taste. Used another dispenser style brand for 10+ years but this is better. Very quiet, I like the filter in the water tank and the controls features. Criticisms are an inconvenient 3: the «safety» cord is less than 3 inches long. Not kidding. So I will have to order a 24+ inch ext cord to connect it to the outlet. It’s a bit much. The water tank lid must be removed, not a flip/hinged lid. It’s inconvenient to have to take it off, set it down and fit it back on. It’s irritating. I wish the maker had a setting to make the coffee extra strong or «bold» but it does not-you get what you get.

Our keurig died ( after keurig replaced) then we purchased an overpriced coffe maker that the facing detached after a week- I have read millions of reviews and decided on this because of the quality of the machine. I have to say it’s pretty looking — the coffee tank is detachable for cleaning and it brews a good cup of coffee. I will update in a year !

We love this coffee pot! Not only is it super easy to program and set up to brew before you even get out of bed, it keeps the coffee warm and doesn’t burn it! Each cup tastes like a fresh brewed cup, it also has the auto shut off feature which is great because it turns off before the coffee starts cooking. Its easy to clean and reassemble too! I highly recommend this coffee pot!

My 10 year old coffee maker finally gave up so I was forced to upgrade. It took me a while to decide on one that would be as efficient as the one I had before. I was actually really sad to let go of it but this coffee maker had been an incredible replacement. The features are a bit confusing so i have not tried them all and the water tank needs some wiggling to get it in place which is not necessarily annoying but about the only thing I don’t like. Definitely recommend this style of coffee maker and more specifically this machine.

The media could not be loaded. Singe serving pods got expensive when you use 3-6 a day and old styled coffee pots leak or have steam that ends up ruining your wood buffet even with a mat under it. Plus regular coffee pots only keep the pot hot for so long and as it sits on the medal plate it burns the coffee and effects flavor. This keeps my coffee hot for hours, typically hubs makes it about 2-3 hours before I even wake up and it’s still hot. I did learn that it requires daily cleaning and I only use purified water because we have nasty water and water effects the taste of coffee. It takes me about 60 seconds to rinse before bed and refill. I prep it then with grounds for the next day so all hubby has to do it turn it on. Plus it doesn’t have to be done brewing to get the first cup and there’s no spilling. It hold a large 16 oz mug underneath it. If you fill it with water past the 12 cup line it will leak out, but that’s kinda obvious. It’s basically like a large yeti that keeps the coffee hot. You can really taste the difference in the last cup because regular coffee pots maintain heat with a hot plate which tends to burn that last cup. This doesn’t do that so the last mug is as good as the first.

This coffee maker was a bit more pricey but I think it’s worth it. I love that it comes with a water filter and you can makes as much or as little coffee as you need. And you just pour a cup when you’re ready for it- no waste! It’s also easy to clean. The coffee tastes so smooth also. Really great buy imo.

This is the third one of these I have purchased. They seem to last 5 years for me (note their warranty is for 3 years so I don’t recommend getting the warranty). I love that it stays warm for a long time without getting that burnt flavor. I think it’s cool how the coffee dispenses. My friends always have a hard time figuring out how to get the coffee out and I chuckle because it’s so easy. I highly recommend.

THE CORD: if you’re still reading complaints about the «2 inch long cord» you are reading the complaint of an idiot. The cord is roughly 16-20 inches long. It’s tucked inside and you simply need to pull it out. You may need to pull it a little harder than you might pull a self securing vacuum cleaner cord but I promise, it’s there.Anyway, as for the rest of it, we’ve been using it for about 2 months now and we really like it. We’ve had a $9 black Friday special since 2007 that decided to finally die last October, so thinking that maybe that brand must not be that bad since we got so much of of it, we bought the nearest thing to it. Within 6 months I noticed water on the counters, which I thought was just spilled when filling out condensation. It wasn’t. Then when it failed on a Noah’s ark level we had no interest in getting another piece of junk. All we wanted is a reliable cup of coffee and the ability to set a time so it’s brewed and ready as my husband leaves for work. I really like that I can adjust the stay-hot time of the brew, which has been great since coffee is usually long gone within one hour and my husband lacks the ability to turn anything off when it’s done.Other pros: the non ear shattering beeping when the cycle is complete our it shuts off. The removable water reservoir is really nice, plus it’s clear so I can easily read the markings or see about where the brewing cycle is. To see the markings for 3 cups or less it needs to be looked at from the side, but that’s no big deal. I usually fill from a pitcher so I can just turn it a little. The included reusable filter is great, but we prefer to filter more sediment with paper filters. But it’s nice to have the backup. The light above the dispenser that turns on when you press the button was an unexpected feature, I missed that in the description. We’ve been able to fill a 32 once insulated mug by moving the machine forward with the catch tray removed and the mug can be held below counter level.I love that everything can be removed or accessed to clean. The taste has been consistent and is much better than anticipated. The cons: it’s nitpicking, but this forms a lot of condensation on the underside of the brewing lid as well as the reservoir, if I leave the lid on. The reservoir concerns me due to the potential for mildew, so I rarely put it in place. It just sits on the corner beside it. After the coffee is ready I lift the other lid to nearly vertical and shake off as much water as I can, then leave it propped open after I turn it off. Otherwise I get water dropping down the back. The parts can be cleaned, but there are a ton of crevices and grooves that are difficult to get to. I have just used a couple drops of dishwashing detergent and a long bottle brush, which works great, but I always scratch my knuckles on some random edge. The drain feature on the heated pitcher thing is a good idea but it’s not in a logical place, and you have to top it exactly right. Which never happens, so as other reviewers have said make sure you’re draining it completely inside the sink.I wish all coffee makers had a battery backup for the clock and timer. Our power flickers all the time. This has a 5-10 second delay, so most of the time is fine, but resetting this takes time and I have to refer to the manual because it isn’t an intuitive process.Another nitpicking detail is having to switch between a that brew cycle to the auto cycle. The job has to be turned for each turn the on/off pressed. It’s a half second of extra time but hey, 2 months later and I still notice.Overall I would recommend this and really like the design. If it konks out before I think we’ve gotten our money’s worth I’ll update this but at this point I really like it.

This is the best coffee maker we have ever had. I gave it a couple weeks before writing my review. I’ve read some of the negative reviews…I have not had any problems. No drips. The coffee is hot. I love not having a carafe. Super easy to clean. After our coffee, we rinse out the basket and the container that holds the coffee. Done. It’s also very pretty. My husband and I LOVE it!!!Update 3/29/23We still LOVE everything about this coffeemaker! 5++ stars!!

This is my second of these coffee makers and I love it. My first no carafe coffee maker was a Hamilton Beach Brewstation, I thought it was great. It died, didn’t last as long as I thought it should. Replaced that with my first Cuisinart, which had a good long life before it’s demise.Having the Cuisinart for so long, I had actually forgotten that I had the Hamilton Beach before it and decided to «try» it. Nope, shouldn’t have done that! It started leaking water and had to go.Back to the Cuisinart. It works. The gauge that tells you how much coffee is left is wildy inaccurate, that’s my biggest negative. You put your mug under the dispenser, push the handle down it delivers coffee and even has a light so you can see the coffee in your cup. Since this is my second Cuisinart DCC 3000 I can say I would buy it again.
