As I write this review, I’m enjoying a delicious, piping hot cup of freshly percolated coffee. When I ordered this coffee percolator, I specifically had camping in mind, an upgrade from the French press I normally use. But of course, no campfire is required, as this coffee maker can be enjoyed at home on a stovetop or anywhere else you have access to a burner or flame.Like many, I look forward to a HOT cup of coffee in the morning, especially outdoors, so being that the coffee percolates over an open flame to reach boiling, this appliance was a no-brainer for me to add to my camping kitchen kit. I also appreciate that I can make a few cups at a time (for myself or to share!) and I’m able to reheat the pot with no need to pour the coffee into a heating pot, as I had to do with the French press. It’s the little things in life!As far as quality, upon unboxing, I could immediately tell that this coffee percolator is very well made. It’s also aesthetically beautiful to look at with its glossy white finish and “wooden” patterned handles. The handles are that lovely rubbery/smooth, grippy material, a fingertips dream, that remains cool to the touch.The funnel compartment that houses the coffee grinds fits seamlessly in the bottom compartment where the water is held. The funnel can even balance on a flat surface if placed carefully. There is a fill line on the bottom to make sure it isn’t overfilled.The instructions advise using this percolator on medium heat, which is easier to control on a stovetop. The water heats up quite fast and then comes that wonderful bubbling sound as the percolation magic begins, along with the incredible fresh coffee aroma. If you’re not familiar with this method of coffee making, water travels from the bottom to the top, where the fresh ground coffee is waiting to be brewed, poured, and enjoyed.This pot is easy to unscrew, clean, and air or towel dry. No filters or plastic need to be disposed of, which also makes this device eco-friendly!I’m very pleased with this little pot and am hoping that it lasts for many years to come. I’ve posted some photos to give you a closer look and sincerely hope that they, along with my review, help you out a bit with your choice. Thank you!

Great little Moka Pot. It seals well. We have a Bialetti Moka pot, and this one is just as well made and for a fraction of the price.

Edited for clarity: The sweet spot for me with this moka pot is medium high heat on an electric stove. On a gas stove, you want to keep the flames from climbing up around the pot. Finger tighten the base on, there is no need to crank on it, the heat will do that for you and you’ll have a much easier time removing it after.I made a cup of coffee with the instructions of a medium low heat and it was bitter, brewing at a higher heat produced a nicer extraction. Pouring the coffee can get messy, be sure to lift the lid and you will avoid a drippy mess. Enjoy!There is a lot to be said for percolated coffee and some of my best memories of camping was an open fire and an old school percolator going on the grate.This brings you that awesome flavor in an upgraded, sleek look. Easy to use, instructions are printed on the side of the box, you’ll need to play with heat and amount of coffee until you get it right. You can use this to make an espresso or just a regular cup of coffee.Easy to clean and take apart, just be sure to wash it well as you’ll want to keep the strainer portions clean.

This Moka pot makes an incredible cup of coffee! Amazing! I am looking forward to a special cup of coffee with this thing every time I make it. I was hoping it would be a little bigger than what it is, but I love it!

Just got this. I am heating a cup right now. It is built well. My biggest concern is that the filter container has a funnel shape at the bottom, but the inside of the filter is flat (see pictures). That means there is a sealed air compartment at the inside base of the filter. If some grounds get in that through the filter holes, I don’t know how to clean it. Also wish the product had some basic instructions, like coffee to water ratio. That said, it makes an amazing cup of coffee! Reminds me of the cafecitos I had in some visits to Cuba!

We love this well crafted moka pot. It’s lovely and fun to use, with excellent attention to details. From the high grade aluminum to the brilliant enamel paint, all the components fit together precisely without any looseness. The handle is made of some form of hard plastic, but the feel is that of soft sanded wood.This moka pot can make espresso comparable to much more expensive espresso machines. The steam is allowed to slowly build and percolate through the coffee grinds, going against gravity and extracting everything from the beans. Disassembly and cleaning is easy and straightforward. We love the wonderful coffee from this pot, and look forward to many more in the coming years.

Perfect little moka pot! It was super easy to use, authentically pleasing to look at, easy clean, and it makes decent coffee. Definitely affordable and I picked it over a french press because it is easier to clean!
