Unfortunately I had to return this because it didn’t fit my coffee pot. It was well made and if it did fit, I would have kept it. Amazon made it easy to return. Thumbs up for the carafe and the easy return.

Selected this carafe to replace our broken Boscare carafe due to the necessary 5-1/2” total height specification. Works perfectly for us!!! Others are either too short or too tall.

I had used a different «grind and brew» coffee pot prior to the Capresso. One of the parts broke, and I am addicted to the convenience of automatic «grind and brew» first thing in the morning. I went to a local shop that sells high end cookware, cookbooks, etc. to purchase a replacement, but they didn’t carry that brand any longer. They steered me to the Capresso which I purchased. Makes excellent coffee, is simple to operate. Over the last five years I have had to replace a lost coffee basket, a broken carafe, and a basket assembly. In all cases, I receive the items within 2 days. I also order the water filters for the Coffee Team from them. Customer service was great on the phone, and parts have always arrived as promised. Love the Capresso Coffee Team GS Coffee Maker — and love the service from the provider!

I bought this carafe as a replacement carafe for my Krups Coffee Maker. It’s fine, but then I have never encountered a carafe by any of the major manufacturers that did not seem decent.My only important piece of advice is to be careful when you buy it. The price for this item varies considerably over time, as I found out when I consulted Keepa.com which tracks Amazon prices.

One morning while I was rinsing out the carafe, while still on a caffiene high, the hyperness caused me to bang the carafe against the sink causing breakage. Naturally I could not admit to my wife that I was a clumsy oaf so I blamed it on my Dobie, Max. Fortunately, I was able to order exact replacements and they arrived in excellent condition. The top is removable with almost no effort making it easy to clean. In trying to allay my wife’s skepticism about Max being the culprit I gently chastised him in her presence while showing him the replacement. She faked acceptance of my story. The replacement is an exact copy and the price is reasonable. It’s all good.

Didn’t fit. But it’s the coffee maker itself not the unit. Hard to find if not the original. For the most part it’s still a good unit if it works and fits yours
